Have you had any defensive battles that you lost? Have you had lots of defensive battles that you lost?
Have you had any offensive battles that you lost? Basically, losing battles (both with your army, and with your territories) lowers your score.
The score does not influence play at all, though. There is no benefit to having a high score (other than other players looking to you for advice). So don't worry too much about it. |

Ignorethegenius is right, the scores don't matter. Since they aren't worth anything, no one would purposely sabotage your score. The scoring system is odd at best so honestly I don't pay any attention to it.
People can tell from your terr counts and army size that you're a major contributor to your team, so having an oddly small score isn't a big deal.
Has anyone else seen a major player with a negative score like this? I haven't, but as I said earlier I don't really pay attention to them. |

Read that again, and calm down. Your score does not matter.
No one screwed with your score. I looked. |

Two words for ya, buddy-- battle 3669. You "m'kayed" yourself.
Choosing to attack a territory when you're going to lose is about as smart as attacking the moderator who's trying to help you. Yes, Igor is a moderator.
We've all seen lower scores; the part that's unusual is that you're posting that your score is really low, so now we can all see it. It's purely a pride thing, and because hardly anyone looks at other teams' scores, you're pretty much creating a source of embarrassment from something that would've otherwise escaped notice.
Time to move on and address the problems your team is facing. If you make better decisions in the future, your score will right itself in time. |

| How would changing someone's score be fun for a moderator? |

| Well. To change someone's score, you'd have to have access to the database. Only two people have access to the database - Battlemonkey and the guy that owns the server. The guy that owns the server doesn't even play the game, let alone care that much about it. BM doesn't find stuff like that funny. In fact, he would be quite upset if someone did that. He specifically chooses admins that he feels wouldn't screw around like that. |

1) Moderators are for the forum. They have no access to anything extra, but they can delete off-topic or disparaging posts in the forum, and they can give access to restricted forum sections.
2) Admins monitor and enforce rules via threat of deletion. They cannot influence your score or access anything but read-only information from the database, and even then it is a selection of things that the game's creator believes will help catch cheaters. I'm not sure how you think this game is run, but it's not that. If you're thinking Igor spends a couple hours every night with a pencil and paper calculating everybody's score and then posting it, it is time for us to introduce you to the new computing advances brought to us by the 1980's. The game's creator created an algorithm for score calculation, and a vague description of these components is available on the help/FAQ. Truth is, even the admins aren't sure of the weightings of these components, but they do know it involves successful merchanting, winning offensive and defensive battles, troop counts, and (probably?) upgrades. If you did not attack chessman's well-fortified territory and lose miserably, you should say so; that would mean your account has been compromised and you should immediately change your password. If you made that (ridiculously bad) choice, you know why your score is so low. Yes, that could easily cost you 21000 points. Case closed (again).
3) No one cares about your score except you. And you don't even have a reason for doing so except that you don't understand this game so you think your score is an indicator of something. Winning is about attaining and holding team victory conditions. You cannot personally win, and your personal score does not in any way impact your team's chances at winning, so I can't see why you care about a meaningless number. |

| None of the administrators can change the score since there is no database access as ignore pointed out. I have from experience in order to weaken a fortification for another army to destroy that I have obliterated my army on a highly defended territory and lost. I went from a nice positive number to -1000 (this is the lowest possible score). |
