What happens to the garrison in a Territory that I attack and conquer?
Whatever garrison that is in a territory will always fight invaders. When you conquer a territory, any part of the garrison that doesn't die in the battle becomes yours. This is kind of like the survivors surrendering and swearing loyalty to you in exchange for their lives. If an enemy then overruns your territory, any survivors will serve that new master. The number of survivors is dependent on the value of the space. The higher the value, the more of the garrison will die defending it.If the space you are in is attacked, your army will join forces with the garrison to defend it. If you attack a space with an army in it and win, the army will flee, leaving no one to join the enemy, so don't worry about that. It is just garrisons that stay behind, they are based on that land. Of course, any time that you are in a territory that you own you can click on the link in the 'Current Location' section of your 'Headquarters' page and transfer the soldiers that are in the territory into your army (or vice versa). Just because you station troops there does not mean that you cannot ever use them again.

I am getting income even though I don't own any Territories. Why?
IF you own no territories, you receive a stipend of 100 gold pieces. Once you own something, you only get income from those spaces - no more stipend.

My capitol is under siege but all of the Territories surrounding it belong to my Nation. Why doesn't the siege end?
There is probably an enemy in a water space that is adjacent to your Capitol.

Where do I get Trade Goods?
Trade Goods are only available in Territories that have a Marketplace. These are the three highest value Territory types, which includes Capitols. When you are located in one, you can click on a button in the 'Current Location' section of your Headquarters page that says 'Goto Marketplace' and you will then be able to buy and/or sell goods.

The price that I have to pay to recruit new soldiers just went up. Why?
So you have decided to raise an army. To do this, you (or your henchmen) go from town to town looking for brave, adventurous souls that would be willing to carry a spear and shield into a battle and die for your cause in return for 20 gold pieces. This will work for you for a little while, until you have recruited everyone that has a deathwish or that is extremely poor, or is just a normal bloodthirsty worshipper of Raetchen. After everyone that is willing to join you for a measly 20 gold pieces has done so, what happens? There is no draft or conscription in the Drakamir world. How are you going to get more troops? Simple - you are going to have to offer more money. So you double the price and all of a sudden a whole new crop of arrowfodder jumps at the opportunity to be a part of your homicidal horde. At some point, however, you will again reach the point where no one is left that is desperate enough to sign up for what you are offering. If you STILL want more men, you are again going to have to raise the bounty in order to draw out those meeker farmers and fishermen who werent willing to die for you for less than the price of a tired old horse. ETC.

I had a Territory yesterday and now it belongs to the Natives. Why?
If you conquer a Territory but then take all of your soldiers out of it, the Natives will rebel and retake possession of their land. You must leave at least one soldier in a Territory in order to prevent this from happening.

My Army Headquarters page says that I have 1 extra attack available? How did I get that?
The game is based on 3 hour turns. Under normal circumstances, you may launch an attack every 3 hours. However, this turn length gives an advantage to players that are able to log in often and take advantage of those turns, whereas players that cannot are disadvantaged by losing those opportunities. To compensate for this, if you do not log on for over 6 hours, you accumulate an extra attack that you can use when you log on. However, you must use that attack when you first log on and see that it is available to you. It does not go into a bank where you can add up a bunch of them and use them all at once. You will never have more than 1 extra attack available at a time.

I can't find out how to spy on a Territory that is far away. I can only spy on Territories shown within the 'Army Headquarters' page. Is there a way to do it?
You cannot spy on Territories that are far away. It was setup like that to try and simulate the idea that your spies can only travel so far from your army and make it back to tell you what they saw in the length of one turn. However, you can see what the garrison in a distant Territory is by going to the 'Map Overview' page and clicking on the area of the map where the Territory is located and then clicking on the particular Territory. That will give you a basic overview of the Territory.

I have stopped receiving income. Why?
If an enemy Nation captures your Capitol, you will only collect 25% of the Tributes that you were receiving prior to the occupation. In order to resume the collection of all of your Tributes, your Nation must recapture its Capitol.

Is there a limit to the number of extra turns on water that you can get from Vaqir? Even though I sacrifice 3, it still says I only get 2 extra turns. Why?
Vaqir works a little differently than the other Dragons. Instead of getting a bonus every time that you make a sacrifice, you may have to make several sacrifices to go from 2 to 3 and from 3 to 4. You have to make 19 sacrifices to get the maximum 6 extra moves.

Do my blessings from Silreno affect both my Army and my garrisons?
If you attack a Territory that has both a garrison and an army in it, the defensive strength of the garrison is adjusted to reflect any blessings given to the owner of the territory by Silreno. The Army's score is adjusted to reflect Silreno's blessings on that army if the army does not belong to the owner of the Territory.

How many spaces are Merchants allowed to move?
Merchants can move 2 spaces on land and 4 on water per turn, plus any bonus from Vaqir.

I was driven out of a Territory that I was in and wound up way across the map. Why?
When you are driven out of a Territory, the game tries to send you to the nearest friendly Territory (i.e. owned by your Nation). Sometimes that may be a long way away. There is also the possiblity that your army was routed. If your Army is defeated and the attacker has an attack score that is more than 6 times greater than your defense score AND your Army is composed of fewer than 1,000 soldiers, your army will automatically flee all the way back to the Capitol regardless of where they are on the map.

I attacked a Territory and lost. I had an Attack score bigger than the defense score of the troops in the Territory. Why did I lose?
Soldiers that are permanently stationed in a Territory are assumed to be spending time digging in, to prepare for an assault. This is reflected in battles by the defending garrison receiving a random bonus to their defense score. This random bonus can be as much as 80% increase in their normal score, or as little as a 40% bonus. To get all of the details on the battle that you fought, go to your 'Battle History' page and click on the 'Details' link next to the battle in question.

Some of my Dragon blessings have disappeared. Why?
Whenever you make a sacrifice a record is made of the event. Two weeks later, that sacrifice is deleted. The Dragons are demanding creatures and you must constantly make sacrifices to them in order to earn their favors.
